Tapestry UMC was born with the belief that “we are God’s accomplishment, created in Christ Jesus to do good things. God planned for these good things to be the way that we live our lives.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Being a follower of Jesus means following his instruction and example to love our neighbors. At Tapestry, we intend to live out that love by actively seeking out and responding to the needs we find in the community and in the world.
Quite literally, Tapestry UMC is a church without walls. We meet in various places throughout the Lone Tree / Parker area. The good news about this is that this makes it easier for us to go out into the community and the world to find and respond to those who are suffering or are in some kind of need. In this way, we intend to do all that we can to make this world a better place and to share a word of hope with the hopeless.
In addition to occasional, as-needed service projects, we meet every 3rd Sunday of the month at 10:30am to participate in a regular, on-going project. Anyone and everyone are welcome to join us in our service and mission opportunities. You don’t need to be a member of the church. You just have to want to love your fellow human beings.
