Pat was born in Washington, DC and raised in the Virginia suburbs where most of his family still resides. Following a job to Colorado in 1994, Pat and his family moved to Parker. Two years later, he and his wife, Jennifer, found Parker United Methodist Church, became members, and made the people at Parker UMC a significant part of their family.
Just a few years after joining Parker UMC, Pat was asked to lead the praise and worship band at the new contemporary worship service. It was through this service to God that Pat heard his call into ministry, a call that eventually resulted in his transition from lay ministry to clergy in July 2011. In July 2015, Pat, Jennifer, and a wonderful launch team from Parker started Tapestry UMC in the Lone Tree area.
Pat’s studies at the University of Virginia (Music/Voice), the University of Phoenix (Business Administration), and Asbury Seminary (Divinity/Theology), along with the experiences he has had in starting and managing two successful businesses, have prepared him well for the challenging but blessed life of the pastor in the 21st century.
Free time finds Pat closely following the Denver Broncos through their ups and downs, reading books of all kinds, enjoying RPG games on his PS3, and watching The Amazing Race, always dreaming that someday he and Jennifer will get to compete in this incredible race-around-the-world.
